Detachable Pop-Up Camera by Vivo!

Vivo has introduced the perfect recipe of photography on smartphones!
Step 1: Detach the camera from smartphone!
Step 2: Place it wherever you want to, for capturing the photos!
Step 3: Attach it back to your smartphone once you’ve finished clicking photos!
And, it will go back inside your smartphone like it used to be with the pop-up camera!
Cool Bro! So, this is about selfie camera? What about the rear one?
Here’s the surprise,
We can flip the same “detachable camera” and click the rear-side photos and as it wirelessly transmits the stream, you can place it anywhere & get the stream on your smartphone!
It is! Vivo has been at forefront in bringing out the new design of smartphones, through their concept phones!
It would be fair enough to say that Vivo is the pioneer of pop-up cameras! Vivo is the brand that introduced the first pop-up camera smartphone in the market!
Though, the legacy of those pop-up camera isn’t much successful due to several reasons, mentioned here: Why pop-up camera failed?
Everything sounds cool but…
This is just a concept phone! Vivo still has to deal with the some feasibility issues in implementing the concept to a commercial product!
They have to address things such as:
A) Providing the dedicated battery to the camera module as well as charging options for it!
B) For making it transmit the video/photo stream, a dedicated chip/Bluetooth module has to be integrated for wireless communication with the smartphone!
C) Weight & Size of the camera module has to be aligned as they need to put many things in the tiny toy!
D) Camera Quality should also be well enough and for that good lenses should be used in small space!
And, the most important thing is,
Privacy! This can be a lethal thing for spying!
Parting Words: If this toy is developed addressing the important issues, it will be a game changer in the smartphone market as it would be much convenient to photography lovers for taking shots from multiple angles!
FYI: Camera module can also be controlled with voice-commands and it also has a hook that would allow us to attach it anywhere! Say, on your pet dog’s neck!
Let’s wait and watch whether, Vivo is able to do this or not!
PS: If Apple goes for something like this, I’m sure they’ll charge separately for the camera module which won’t be in the box like charging adapter these days ;)
